The following are attorney rates for family law cases in the State of Maryland. The fee quoted is based on the typical case. A final fee cannot be quoted, however, until you call (443) 660-7513 and Sheri conducts a consultation. The fees do not include filing fees or associated costs. Travel costs may be associated with cases outside of the Baltimore-metro area. Payment plans are available!
TYPE OF CASE: Absolute Divorce (Contested) *
Fee – $15000
ATTORNEY ACTION:
- Handles Discovery Requests and Responses
- Prepares client for Mediation, if appropriate
- Appears at Scheduling Conference, Settlement Conference and/or Trial
- Does not include cost for a party, witness or expert deposition
*Includes complaints or defenses for Alimony, Child Support, Custody/ Visitation, Real or Personal Property Distributions
*Costs are reduced for those with no children in the marriage
TYPE OF CASE: Pendente Lite Hearing (Contested)*
Fee – $5000

*Includes negotiation and preparation of a Separation Agreement, if appropriate
TYPE OF CASE: Uncontested Divorce on Separation Ground
